Renewal of Membership (for existing club members)

If you would like to renew your membership:

  • Check the latest 2019 rate card

  • Renew online by regsitering here

  • You will receive an email confirming your licence number. We cannot guarantee that CGA will issue the same licences to the club every year

  • Complete the 2019 ASA registration form to receive your license number.

  • Rememeber to register/update in the CGA platform

New Member Applications

The SSCR serves and supports the running comunity of Sunninghill and surrounding areas.  We are a relatively small community club and rely on the involvement of our members who participate in and volunteer to help out at our time trials, club runs, races and events.

If this is a good fit for you, you are welcome to apply to become a member as follows:    

  • Obtain a clearance letter from your current club, as per CGA requirement (if applicable).

  • Download, read and familiarise yourself wiith the SSRC Code of Conduct. By joining the Sunninghill Striders Running Club, you accept this Code of Conduct, and agree to comply with it

  • Check the latest 2019 Rate card 

  • Enroll and pay online by regsitering here

  • You will receive an welcome email confirming your licence number

  • Complete the 2019 ASA registration form to receive your license number.

Fees & ASA Licenses

Note:  the online ASA registration has been terminated and is no longer in use.  Please download and complete the manual registration form (below)

  • The Single membership fee includes your yearly Club Membership fee, as well as ASA Licence fee.

  • Upon joining we will issue you with an Athletics South Africa (ASA) yearly licence, which will allow you to run the road races in SA, and will be valid until end January of the following year, upon which you will have to renew.

  • Complete the 2019 ASA registration form to receive your license number.

  • ASA Licence Numbers can be collected at Tuesday Time Trials, 18h00 – 19h30. 

  • ASA Licences will only be issued to paid up members who have also completed the 2019 ASA registration form.. No form, no licence, no exceptions, The ASA for is your proof of insurance, which covers you while participasting in official ASA sactioned events.

Registered Regulation Club Colours

Our registerd Club Colours are Navy Blue, White and Gold.  Only Navy Blue Shorts may be worn with the official Club registered vest / crop top at races. Only Navy Blue or White t-shirts, Navy Blue ski-pants and / or leggings may be worn under the vest / crop top or shorts. 

The official regulation Club Kit is available from the Club and can be collected every Tuesday, after Time Trial, from the clubhouse.
