Renewal of Membership (for existing club members)
If you would like to renew your membership:
Download and complete the renewal form.
Download the latest rate card and make a payment as per the instructions.
Email the completed renewal form and proof of payment to email@example.com.
Please note that, although we make every effort to do so, we cannot gurantee you will receive your same license number.
New Member Applications
The SSCR serves and supports the running comunity of Sunninghill and surrounding areas. We are a relatively small community club and rely on the involvement of our members who participate in and volunteer to help out at our time trials, club runs, races and events.
If this is a good fit for you, you are welcome to apply to become a member as follows:
Obtain a clearance letter from your current club, as per CGA requirement (if applicable).
Download, read and familiarise yourself wiith the SSRC Code of Conduct. By joining the Sunninghill Striders Running Club, you accept this Code of Conduct, and agree to comply with it
Download and complete the new member application form.
Download the rate card and make a payment as per the instructions (Please use your name and Surname as reference for your EFT Payment).
- New members will need to complete the ASA registration form.
- Email the clearance letter (if applicable), completed application form, ASA registration form and proof of payment to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Fees & ASA Licenses

The Single membership fee includes your yearly Club Membership fee, as well as ASA Licence fee.
Upon joining we will issue you with an Athletics South Africa (ASA) yearly licence, which will allow you to run the road races in SA, and will be valid until end January of the following year, upon which you will have to renew.
Complete the ASA registration form to receive your license number.
ASA Licence Numbers can be collected at Tuesday Time Trials, 18h00 – 19h30.
ASA Licences will only be issued to paid up members who have also completed the ASA registration form.
Unfortunately, no third party collection will be allowed - members are to please collect their licenses themselves.
Registered Regulation Club Colours
Our registerd Club Colours are Navy Blue, White and Gold. Only Navy Blue Shorts may be worn with the official Club registered vest / crop top at races. Only Navy Blue or White t-shirts, Navy Blue ski-pants and / or leggings may be worn under the vest / crop top or shorts.
The official regulation Club Kit is available from the Club and can be collected every Tuesday, after Time Trial, from the clubhouse.
